Getting in touch with your intuition is increasingly important these days for reducing stress from information overload.
You’ve probably heard the statement “Begin with the end in mind” sometime in your life. It is a great guiding principle and also one you might fail to use when getting caught up in the many details that are part of planning and goal setting. When a group is involved in creating a plan, the process can become even more complicated as various parties jockey to get their ideas heard and incorporated. Like me, you’ve probably endured far too many meetings wondering if a plan would ever be conceived.
Many people loose sleep because they cannot quiet their thinking. They are stressed out with worry and frustrations. We all experience numerous disappointments. Our expectations go unmet, our plans are blocked by outside circumstances, and our wishes go unfulfilled. Our lives are subject to a myriad of forces beyond our conscious control. More often than not we react with a tension that permeates our bodies and minds. Small frustrations such as interruptions at work and sitting in traffic wield such power over us because they rob us of the illusion of control. You cannot distance yourself from life's inconsistencies, irritations, and upheavels, but you can relinquish your desire for perfect order. When we stop worrying about things we have no control over, we can be at peace, and devote more of ourselves to what is truly important to us.
Sometimes you're trying really, really hard to be positive, visualize what you want and manifest your dreams. It even seems to be working -- a bit.
But then the wheels fall off the cart and suddenly it seems everything and everyone is out to get you. What do you do?
I suggest throwing a fit.
Let me explain.
I have just been given a new home. I say “given” because I did little to obtain it. And because of that I felt it important to share the story, so that you can understand the power of creation, manifestation, gratitude. I’ve lived in a pleasant area of Lake County, Ohio for about eleven years, but with an expansion of my business felt the pull to move further south into Summit County. My goal for the last year or so has been to seek out the perfect home for me and my cats. I wanted quiet, privacy, a place to sooth the spirit. I wanted room to have events and healing work and space for friends. I wanted more than anything to be enfolded in nature with room for gardening. With a goal in mind, I offered up the prayer I learned from my friend John Davis, John of Peniel. “Thank you God for the perfect home that I am receiving – amen!” I believed it was there and coming to me. “Thank you” is gratitude. “The perfect home” is the goal, the intent. “I am receiving” is the acceptance, manifestation, creation part. “Amen” means so be it, it is done. I believed that I needed to be diligent in the search and pay attention to signs. That I needed to pursue it with all my intention.
When you first learn about the Law of Attraction it can sound irresponsible and unreasonable.
"What?! If I'm just being happy and I'm not preparing myself or protecting myself from all of the bad things in the world how will I stay safe? How will I be a responsible person?"
I've written articles about this. I've done workshops about this. But then I saw a movie that showed Law of Attraction in action better than I could ever explain. And it did it in only 1 minute and 48 seconds.
Something is happening and there is no mistake about it. Shifts are occurring and human beings on this planet will consciously move toward love or move toward fear. Both will occur and it is up to each person which course they will follow. This will cause the choice of fear or love to be prevalent. No more sitting on the fence.
What will this look like? Choosing fear is believing in an external world and all that is going on in it, according to the news as empires fall and economies collapse. Markets may drop again and things may get a bit tougher financially. People have told me that is the reality of today. Is it? With that seed of fear from the outside world your internal world can feed, water and cause that fear to grow into mental and psychological stress which then transfers into physical disease. More and more mind relaxation drugs are being prescribed in our world today. “How can we see things any other way? “ I’ve been asked.
