Ever have one of those days when you felt unappreciated, alone and just plain sad inside? That was me last Friday. A series of small things like cancelled appointments and news that only 3 people had registered for an upcoming workshop had somehow convinced me that I wasn’t valuable or appreciated. At the end of a very busy week, my spirit sunk very low.

What to do?

Lady Gaga is known for her outlandish costumes. How can anyone forget the "meat dress"? She is absolutely correct in saying she was "born that way".  She is a 1 Lifepath and 1s are known for having their own unique style and creative out-of-the-box thinking.

A style icon from another era was Jackie Kennedy who was an 11/2 Lifepath. She was described as a woman who had style, grace and impeccable taste. She also was true to her numbers.

Our numbers do influence us in every aspect of our life including how we choose to dress so lets take a quick look at FASHION as seen through the numbers!~

Be careful that you do not miss what lies beyond the horizon because you choose to play it safe in your life.

“If you want to be happy,” said Leo Tolstoy, “BE.” I used to hear people say this and I would think, “Be what?” I know now, that’s the wrong question. Why? Because it implies there is something you must DO in order to BE. There is nothing, however, you could ever do in order to be.

Last year around Christmastime I read the book A Complaint Free World: How To Stop Complaining And Start Enjoying The Life You Always Wanted by Will Bowen.

It's a sweet book written by a minister who realized that by not complaining his entire world shifted, and so too did the lives of his congregation. (Law of Attraction, anyone? :)

We fill ourselves up with opinions and attachments and call them strength of character, strength of conviction and strength of concentration. In reality all we are doing is blocking ourselves from fully experiencing Love.  Having a firm opinion can be positive, however, holding on to your ideas to the point of excluding others creates separation.

“Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.”  ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I am amazed how often I hear the words “with my luck.” Our general society has a several standard phrases that we all tend to take for granted, the aforementioned being the poster child. Statements like “with my luck” have an underlying belief that is the driving force of what is being created in the person’s life. As these words are uttered, we often no longer even look at the meaning behind them. When someone says it, they usually are not thinking the “luck” is good. In fact the implied tone that comes with the phrase says quite the opposite. The overwhelming implication is ”poor me.”
